VETERINARY MEDICINE – CANINE

GOLDIC medical products offer the veterinarian a new, innovative form of treatment in the field of “regenerative medicine” for dogs and cats. GOLDIC helps the doctor to produce an endogenous serum which has an anti-inflammatory effect, relieves pain and helps to restore mobility. Existing local stem cells are activated and their differentiation supported.

For dogs GOLDIC is often used to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including: arthritis; arthrosis; tendon-, ligament-, cartilage- and muscle injuries; disc herniation and neurodegenerative disorders.

Among the benefits of such treatment is that the effect can last for a prolonged period of time without the need for the use of painkillers (“non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – NSAIDS”).

GOLDIC medical devices are safe to use and have already proven their worth in treatment for a range of orthopedic disorders. In vitro data and clinical results are also very encouraging in other species. For dog patients there is so far no sufficient evidence when using GOLDIC. Therefore, treatments should be taken with the knowledge of the mode of action of the enriched serum and after in-depth discussions between the veterinarian and the pet owner about the costs, the chances, the limited evidence available and other traditional methods.

If you think that your dog is in pain, consult your veterinarian immediately. Before treatment with GOLDIC medical products your dog is thoroughly examined by the veterinarian.

ARTHRITIS AND ARTHROSIS

Arthritis in the dog is an inflammatory disease of one or more joints. One differentiates between the infectious (caused by bacteria, f.e. in an injury, a bite wound, borreliosis through a tick bite, etc.) and the non-infectious arthritis (inflammatory reactions of the immune system, f.e. rheumatoid arthritis).

Arthrosis in the dog is a wear-related change in the joints and therefore belongs to the so-called degenerative diseases. The arthrosis of the dog is a typical phenomenon of aging. However, it can also occur in younger dogs, if the joints have been overstressed over a long period of time, or if disorders of the joints are the cause.

Possible symptoms are: lameness and typical inflammatory characteristics (joint pain, functional limitations, swelling, warming, redness).

TENDINITIS

Tendinitis is an inflammation of the tendons that causes lameness in dogs. The most frequently affected tendons are the biceps tendon (front leg) and the supraspinatus tendon (shoulder). Symptoms can vary and depend on the location and the extent of the injury to the tendon. You may notice your dog limping or adjusting his natural gait. He may show pain when you touch or move the area.

SPORTS INJURY

Dog sport finds more and more enthusiastic fans. On the one hand, the challenge of sporting promotes the physical as well as mental vitality of dogs; on the other hand, there is risk of injuries due to a possible lack of warm-up training, overload, unevenness or sharp objects in the terrain.

Sport injuries can be sustained to a variety of tissues, including bone (fractures), ligament and tendon (tears), the cardiovascular system (dehydration and heat stress), skin (lacerations), and many others.

In the treatment of sport injuries, GOLDIC medical devices have proven themselves to accelerate the healing process.

SPINE & BACK PROBLEM

There are numerous issues that can cause back or spinal pain in dogs. If your dog is in pain or having trouble doing normal everyday activities he should be examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Because back and spinal pain can be caused by a variety of diseases or conditions.

Symptoms are depending on the location and specific type of abnormality. Treatment will be depending on the type and severity of the spinal defect. Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) is one of the most common spine diseases in dogs. IVDD causes the disc to herniate or rupture, resulting in the inner disc material protruding into the spinal canal. Since the spinal cord lies in this bony canal, it cannot escape the pressure. The herniated disc is very painful as it presses on the nerves that run through the spinal cord. This leads to inflammation, reduced mobility and in some cases, can also cause neurological problems.

WOBBLER – SYNDROME

The Canine-Wobbler syndrome is a compression syndrome of the cervical spine, which leads to neurological signs and / or neck pain. The term wobbler syndrome is used to describe the characteristic wobbly gait that affected dogs have. The disease occurs particularly in male dogs of medium to large breeds.

The triggering factors are presumed to be an excessive increase in growth. In addition, a genetic disposition is discussed by medical professionals. Large breeds, in which a long, slim, little muscled and graceful neck belongs to the breed standard often have deformations of the cervical spine. These changes are already found in young dogs (Dobermann, Sighthound breeds, etc.).

Treatment with GOLDIC medical products will be anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce the spinal cord swelling by relieving pressure and therefore the pain. For detailed medical advice, please contact your veterinarian.

HOW CAN CANINE GOLDIC MEDICAL DEVICES HELP THE VETERINARIAN ?

Practical experience has shown that the majority of dogs treated with GOLDIC medical products showed a significant improvement within a few weeks after treatment.

This will be achieved by increasing different endogenous growth factors, inflammation inhibitory cytokines, as well as a multiplication of the stem cell specific factors in the patient´s body.

The results also showed that recovery lasted for years. This lasting effect is largely due to the immuno-modulatory impact of the activated stem cells. In addition, these dogs needed less painkillers after the GOLDIC treatment than before.

Treatment with GOLDIC products promotes healing, mobility, is safe, well tolerated and ideally complements any necessary additional surgical measures.
